Professor Kazuhiro Kosuge
Professor Kazuhiro Kosuge is Chair Professor of Robotic Systems and Director of the JC STEM Lab of Robotics for Soft Materials at the University of Hong Kong. With a career spanning over four decades, he is a leading figure in robotics, having served as a professor at Tohoku University and Science Advisor for Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology. Professor Kosuge has held numerous leadership roles within the IEEE, including serving as President of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and Vice President for Technical Activities.
